“We often define ourselves by what we do; the jobs we hold, responsibilities we carry, and people we serve. Perhaps, you hold yourself to an impossible standard of achievement and success. In the hurry and busyness of our lives, we create patterns of neglecting our needs and disconnecting from the present moment. Have you allowed yourself to be present with yourself? With others?

I believe we become stuck when we do not allow ourselves to experience the full breadth of emotions and possibility of the present. My hope is to foster an intentional space for us to develop insight and awareness into our thoughts and emotional experiences. I view the therapeutic relationship as the most important tool in creating this meaningful and lasting change. It would be an honor to work alongside you in regaining contact with your values.

I graduated with my Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Loyola University Maryland. I completed my pre-Doctoral Internship at the William and Mary Counseling Center, with previous experience in private practice, partial-hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs for eating disorder treatment, and community mental health. My specialties include treating eating disorders and body concerns, depression, anxiety, grief and loss, significant life changes, identity development, and integrating religion and spirituality into treatment. I enjoy working with emerging adults, adults, and couples. Please reach out if you believe we might be a good fit!”
